What is the business?

Formed in May 2019 whilst completing a trial project in collaboration with the Veterans Mental Health Service of the NHS, this not-for-profit organisation supports veterans who are suffering mental ill-health, and their families, in the Lincolnshire area.

How did LORIC help?

LORIC helped VSS CIC to identify and understand their social value, to identify appropriate stakeholders and consider how to improve their relationships with them in order to improve their support provided to statutory bodies, and to increase funding.

Plans for the future:

Veterans Support Service aims deliver organisational growth and to support statutory bodies to improve health and well-being outcomes to the veteran community. They also intend to apply for a wider range of funding.

Thank you very much for the report and all the guidance and facilitation from Claudia to enable us to get to this stage. Your resources will be instrumental in helping us secure future funding.
