What is the Business?
CVG Solutions is a multi-award-winning business with a team of independent Data Advisory Specialists that provides GDPR advice, guidance, and training. They are very passionate about creating a Centre of Excellence for GDPR and generating awareness of the regulation within the SME community.
History
When new data protection regulations came into force in 2018, founder Cristina Vannini-Goodchild set up CVG Solutions to support businesses at every step of their GDPR journey. Cristina is a fully certified C-DPO, CIPP/E, Prince2 and MSP qualified to practitioner level, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and ITIL v4.
How did LORIC help?
LORIC gave Cristina assistance with some primary qualitative research via marketing surveys which provided data to help inform some of her business decisions regarding bringing a GDPR toolkit onto the market. This was further supported by a marketing workshop and the provision of some marketing tools for Cristina to implement with her marketing planning and a customer journey and website session. During her time as a beneficiary Cristina also benefitted from some signposting and referral work.
Plans for the future
The launch of the ‘GDPR toolkit’ is planned for early 2023 and together with the e-Learning ‘GDPR Training On Your Terms’ it creates a rounded service that will bring much value to our customers. We will concentrate on promoting these services and upskilling our members of staff so that we are in a position to help more small businesses.
